Olimpus makes a huge variety of digital as well as film cameras. Many of them are very affordable. In general, you're going to pay more for a digital camera than for a film camera because of the technology inside. However, a really nice film camera will still cost you quite a bit. Olimpus has quite a few good digital cameras for under $200. For that price, you can get a good zoom and more than enough megapixels. Just check ratings from existing customers before you buy. As for film cameras, you have a lot of choices for point-and-shoots for under $100. They even have some decent 35mm cameras for around $200.
