A flat panel moniter is often confused with a flat screen moniter. The names are very similar, but they're very different things. A flat panel moniter is an LCD moniter. It's the type of moniter that's very thin and takes up very little space. The screen is made completely differently than a traditional CRT moniter. The picture quality is better and the price is higher.
